Marrero's was originally a private home, built in 1890-1891 by Francisco Marrero, a prominent local cigar maker. He promised the house to his beloved, Enriquetta Marrero, as a forever home to raise their family together. Some say their legacy lives on in the form of a benevolently spirited energy passing through the halls of the old house.
Experience the grandeur of their stately Victorian home, thoughtfully updated and lovingly converted into a boutique hotel. The original architectural details of our historic estate remain intact while modern renovations throughout the house provide guests with the best of both old and new Key West hospitality. Our location in the heart of Old Town, just half a block from Duval Street, provides prime access to all of the restaurants, bars, and sights Key West is famous for.

Breakfast
A complimentary continental breakfast of fresh baked bagels, pastries, and Cuban coffee is sourced locally and served fresh daily from 8:30am-10am in the parlor or our front porch. Consider it your pregame to all the delicious meals you'll experience during your stay. Our innkeepers are locals and their concierge services are not to be missed for finding the best eateries!
Tea + Coffee Bar
Enjoy our 24-hour complimentary tea and coffee bar, bottled water, canned soft drinks and mini fridge access. The two guest mini fridges are located in the Parlor and by the Pool and are stocked throughout the day. Your guest room also includes a mini fridge for your convenience and we will gladly provide ice upon request.
Pool
Our grounds include a private courtyard oasis with tropical rock gardens and a wrap-around sundeck. Indulge in the shade under our cabana-striped parasols on a chaise lounge with a fluffy, velour Marrero's beach towel or take a dip in our sparkling, crystal clear pool. With blue skies overhead and greenery surrounding you, you have discovered your private paradise!
Housekeeping
We deep clean and sterilize guest rooms in between each visit. We're confident this fresh approach not only creates a clean, safe stay for you, but also helps to lessen our impact on the environment. Should you need additional linens or a room refresh, please let the innkeeper know and we be at your service! We are committed to a greener, more sustainable stay.
Happy Hour
Daily at 3:30pm, we invite you to sit at our vintage Tiki Bar for Happy Hour. Hang out in our parlor with a complimentary wine or beer in hand or bask in the sunshine on our historic front porch with views of Old Town Key West. We have a curated variety of wine, beer, and canned ready to drink cocktails for purchase paired with light bar snacks waiting for you. See you soon!

Old Town
We are conveniently located one block from Duval Street, where it all happens in Key West! Just step outside and turn right and you will find food and fun at your fingertips! Ask our Innkeepers for the best local Happy Hour, dinner reservations, or live music and they'll point you in the right direction. Our location makes it easy to walk to almost any destination in Key West, however you can rent a bike or scooter or golf cart, as well. Just ask us for our recommendations.
Excursions
Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, and Sunset Cruises are a daily activity in Key West. Ask our Innkeepers for their suggestions or to book an excursion for you! Or rent a bike or golf cart and explore the island on your own time. We recommend a visit to Fort Zachary Taylor and an afternoon at The Key West Butterfly Conservatory. If you book in advance, take a trip to the Dry Tortugas, an experience you can only get here in Key West!

Visit the Key West Lighthouse, the Ernest Hemingway Home, the Historic Seaport, The Tennessee Williams Museum, the Key West Shipwreck, the Key West Cemetery or the Southernmost Point or allow us to book you tickets on the Trolley for a guided historical tour!
